About RanThis
RanThis tests AI tools and Claude skills on real tasks and writes down what happened — not what the feature list promises.
What we do
- We install AI tools, Claude skills and MCP servers and run them on real tasks instead of only reading the documentation.
- Hands-on guides show what we actually did: the setup, the prompts, the output and, where it matters, what it cost.
- We also cover news about AI tools, written from the vendor's official announcement and linked to it.
- Hard facts — prices, plans, versions, dates — are checked against official pages, and every article lists its sources.
What we don't do
- We don't invent test results, screenshots or experiences. If we haven't run something ourselves, the article says so and points to its sources.
- We don't sell the tools we write about.
- We are independent and not affiliated with Anthropic, OpenAI, Google or any other company whose tools we cover.
How we use AI
- Parts of our articles are drafted with AI assistance and checked before they are published.
- Illustrations generated with AI, and interface mockups built with code, are always labeled under the image.
Who runs RanThis
RanThis is run by the team behind Dunggi, a Vietnamese-language site about software and AI tools at dunggi.vn. Both sites share the same editorial rules.
